2012-2013 Year

 

The Fall 2012 to Spring 2013 year was great year for the Chi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Omega®.  In the fall, SAO ran its "Set Sail with SAO" recruitment, and welcomed home the Zeta class at the end of the week.  For Big Little Retreat, the sisters traveled to Garden City, South Carolina, where they were able to spend the weekend bonding, and relaxing on the sand.  In October, SAO partnered with Omega Phi Alpha, Kappa Upsilon Chi, and Zeta Epsilon Chi to host a Masquerade formal, in order to work towards building friendships across sororities and fratnerities. 

 

In the spring, the sisters traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for our annual sisterhood retreat, where the sisters got to spend time hiking, shopping, and getting to know sisters they may not have before.  Throughout the year SAO was able to once again participate in a variety of service events, by continoulsy raising money for Ovarian Cancer Awareness, serving as adult leaders for middle and high school girls through Disciple Now in Atlanta, Georgia, and through our participation in Relay for Life.  It was a busy year, but through it our sisters were able to continually get to build relationships with each other, and grow in their relationships with Christ.  Check out our year below!
